Alumni Magazine

USC Trojan Family Magazine is published in print twice a year (Autumn and Spring) and via digital-only issues twice a year (Winter and Summer) for USC alumni, sponsors and parents of current undergraduates. This publication celebrates and connects with USC friends and family by telling stories, sharing compelling experiences and capturing meaningful moments that define the Trojan spirit.

I worked across editorial features for USC’s Trojan Family Magazine, developing visual directions that balanced the publication’s established identity with the individual story and audience. I researched photography, illustration, and visual references to determine the most effective way to communicate the subject while creating variety across the issue.

I collaborated with editors, writers, photographers, and illustrators throughout the process, from initial concepts and image sourcing through art direction, layout, and final production. The work required balancing creative exploration with editorial deadlines, budgets, and the practical requirements of a recurring publication.
